Oslo is the capital and the largest city in Norway.  The population is less than 600,000.  Average temperature range from a high of 69 to a low of 51 in June.  It is located at the head of a 60 mile long fjord.  Fjords are long narrow inlets created by glacier activity with steep sides.  Europe's most northerly country.

Bygdoy is a peninsula that is located on the western side of Oslo.  Many of the Museums are located here including the Viking Ship Museum and the Norwegian Folk Museum
