Trip Report:
We spent 5 nights in London prior to the cruise. We landed at LHR at 6 AM on Saturday. We took the tube to our hotel, but needed help with the luggage just getting out of the station. A professor from BYU and his wife took pity on us with our excessive luggage and helped us with the escalator and walked us to our hotel, the renaissance Chancery Hotel. The professor picked up a bite size toblerone at the reception desk as his reward for his good deed. :)
Our room was not ready, so we made the short walk to the British Museum, stopping at 2 different Pret a Manger's on the way. We got there before it opened. We waltzed around for an hour before it opened. After it opened we went to the Paul Hamlyn Library to get one of the kid back activity sets. We did "Great Greeks". On the way to the program we took a picture of the Rosetta Stone, and the hordes of people surrounding it.

We left the museum around 12:30, the room at the hotel was still not ready. Aroung 15:00 we finally got in the room. Took a nap, freshened up and tubed to Vinopolis. The kids had apple juice.

Later in the day we raced to get to our "London Walks" Harry Potter walking Tour. After the tour we tubed to King's Cross Railroad Station to see Platform 9 3/4.
That night we went to the Tower of London for the "Ceremony of the Keys". This 700 year old Ceremony starts at 21:30. Nothing stops the keys.
Day 3.
We walked to Westminster Abbey.
We tubed to Kensington Gardens and went to the Diana Memorial Playgorund. We met expat friends and watched the kids run around for awhile. Had lunch there, pretty good 4 cheese pizza, kids had ice cream of course. We then walked to the Peter Pan Statue. After saying goodbye to our friends we walked East along the Northern edge of the park and then made stops at The Disney Store (of course) and Hamley's. We bought a magic hair brush and magic markers.
Had fish and chips for dinner at Rock and Sole Plaice in Covent Garden. The cod was great, ordered seconds. Calamari was pretty good as well. We then walked back to the hotel.
